A Big Day Remembered !

Getting baptized with my friends at NewSpring Fuse in Clemson, SC, was a monumental experience that I will cherish forever. At 16 years old, this moment marked a profound turning point in my life, filled with both personal significance and collective celebration. NewSpring Fuse, known for its vibrant youth ministry and supportive community, provided the perfect backdrop for this deeply meaningful occasion. Surrounded by friends who shared the same journey, the atmosphere was charged with excitement and a sense of unity. As we prepared for the baptism, I felt a mix of nervousness and exhilaration, but mostly an overwhelming sense of joy.

The ceremony itself was a beautiful blend of reverence and celebration. Stepping into the water, I felt a profound connection to something greater than myself, a moment of spiritual renewal that was both humbling and empowering. The cheers and encouragement from my friends, along with the supportive presence of the NewSpring Fuse community, made the experience even more special. It wasn’t just about the act of baptism; it was about the shared commitment to our faith and the journey we were embarking on together.

Embracing the New !

As the new year starts, I've been staying busy with voters 'registration at my hbcu SC State and making sure my fellow classmates know the importance of black voters. Pictured here is me (Far Left) with other Greeks from left to right, (Sigma Gamma Rho, Delta Sigma Theta, and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sororities. I understand the importance of using our voices and rights as the 2024 presidential election is upon us. Beyond just voting but advocating for more students to engage in civic participation and leadership Oppurtunites.
It was an extremely moving experience to watch my line brother Tyron Pahn preach at A&M Baptist Church in Orangeburg. Rich, the practice of deep melodies and the friendly congregation produced a sense of camaraderie and reverence as I became comfortable in the familiar seats. Tyron had a powerful but reassuring presence on the pulpit, and his comments rang true with compassion as well as conviction. Drawing from scripture and his own experiences, his sermon was a potent combination of passionate advice and insightful prayer, meant to raise and inspire everyone in the service. Seeing him share his religion and give such a moving speech served as a powerful reminder of our relationship's strength and the transformational power of spiritual commitment.
